It seems 3 more people have returned their order of Canada.
At least one, an archbishop in the Catholic church has said it was because the honour was bestowed on Dr Henry Morgentaler.
Luckily the good archbishop wasn't already upset to be included in a group with a convicted felon who renounced his Canadian citizenship to become a lord

The really funny thing is that Morgentaler probably doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the stupid award anyway and just accepted it because it would piss all the holy rollers off.
AH I hope he enjoys it too.
Not the nicest way to earn a living but giving women control over themselves seems like a pretty good thing to me.
